Volvo Active Driver Assist
The next generation Volvo Active Driver Assist (VADA)* system integrates radar and camera capabilities with a variety of on-board safety features.
Integrated camera and radar
VADA enhances road safety by combining radar monitoring of up to 500 feet ahead with constant camera observation whenever the vehicle exceeds 5 mph.
Heads up display
A collision warning light is projected as a red bar in the windshield when a vehicle or other object is too close. The driver is alerted up to 3 seconds before an impending event.
