MULTIPLE I-SHIFT OPTIONS AVAILABLE: COMPLETE, BASIC, AND SHORT
The Basic is the Short + the range kit. The Complete is the Basic + the clutch control actuator, top shift cover, and the transmission’s electronic control unit. All I-Shift units are built using only Volvo Genuine parts and remanufactured by Volvo-certified, factory-trained technicians.
I-Shift Complete: Your Best Solution
- Installation-ready with no additional components or labor hours needed: get back on the road in 1 day. - All engineering updates are included. The Complete has been tested under load and dyno-tested to Volvo’s stringent factory specifications. - Featuring a standard two-year / unlimited-mileage warranty when installed by an authorized Volvo dealer, there is also an extended warranty option that offers an additional free year of warranty when certain conditions are met.
I-Shift Basic: Your Better Solution
- Some assembly required: get back on the road in 1-2 days. Note that the top shift cover, the transmission’s electronic control unit, and the clutch control actuator are not included. - All engineering updates are included except for the parts that are reused. - Featuring a two-year / unlimited-mileage warranty on the gear box but not on the parts that are locally installed. This includes parts and labor on the gear box when the transmission is installed by an authorized Volvo dealer.
I-Shift Short: Your Good Solution
- Some assembly required: get back on the road in 1-2 days. Note that the top shift cover, the transmission’s electronic control unit, the clutch control actuator, and the auxiliary range section are not included. - All engineering updates are included except for the parts that are reused. - Featuring a one-year / unlimited-mileage warranty on the gear box but not on the parts that are locally installed. I-Shift Range Section: 1 Year/Unlimited Miles
- Completely disassembled and cleaned using the latest technology, all critical components and “high wear” items are replaced with new items. - Machining of remanufactured components undergoes stringent quality control processes using precision machining centers to ensure that performance and reliability standards are met.
The Range Housing Service Kit includes: - High Range Drum - Spacer Ring, Snap Rings, Speed Sensor - Output Flange - Oil Filter
Control Units, Top Covers, and Flywheels
- All covers are cleaned and inspected, with bores machined as required. Shift rails are gauged for size and straightness. - All "range valve"-type top covers are built with the latest style—non-adjustable pin height design. - Remanufactured flywheels are available as an alternative to new flywheels and provide a lower I-Shift service cost. The flywheels are remanufactured according to the latest engineering specifications. - All remanufactured flywheels are completely cleaned and inspected for any damage. - The pilot bearing is included and installed for your convenience.
