Volvo Trucks announced that it will again serve as the exclusive sponsor of the America’s Road Team public outreach program in 2017. Gӧran Nyberg, president of Volvo Trucks North America, made the announcement today at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) Management Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas, Nevada.
“The America’s Road Team program continues to play a valuable role in bringing our industry’s messages of safety, essentiality and environmental care directly to lawmakers and the motoring public,” Nyberg said. “We appreciate the work of the America’s Road Team Captains and applaud these professional drivers for their outstanding safety records and commitment to promoting the trucking industry.
