Decommissioning of Tech Tool v2.8.330 and Older Versions Effective November 5th, 2025

Tech Tool versions older than 2.8.331 will no longer be supported, and users attempting to log in with outdated versions will receive an error message and will be unable to access the tool until updated to 2.8.331 and later versions.

Starting Wednesday, October 22nd, all Tech Tool clients running versions older than 2.8.331 will be automatically forced to get updated to the 2.8.331 version when connected to the internet.

How will the update occur?

• The update will trigger when the computer is rebooted or when it is in use for 6 hours.
• This process is automatic and cannot be postponed once initiated.

Recommended Action:
To avoid disruptions during this critical period:

• Update all Tech Tool clients to version 2.8.331 or newer before October 22nd.
• This allows you to control the timing of the update and ensure smooth operations.
