Volvo Trucks North America will showcase the VNR Electric, 25th anniversary VNL 760, VNL 860 and VHD model in its booth (No. 1029) at ExpoCam Sept. 22-23 outside of Montreal, Canada.
Volvo Trucks North America will showcase the VNR Electric and 25th anniversary Volvo VNL 760 model in its booth #8045 at the American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2021 Fall Meeting Sept. 12-16 in the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland, Ohio. Cutaways of the Volvo I-Shift intelligent automated manual transmission and latest-generation D13 Turbo Compound (D13TC) engine, along with the new Volvo VNR Electric motor, will also be on display.
Volvo Trucks North America will display the latest Volvo VNL 760 and VNR Electric model, including the next-generation D13 Turbo Compound (D13TC) engine and Volvo I-Shift transmission, in its booth (No. 612) at the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) 2021 Annual Education Management Conference and Exhibition. The event takes place June 13-15, 2021 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Two years ago, Volvo Trucks introduced the first generation of its Turbo Compound engine in their Volvo VNL model range. Following on the success of that technology and the positive customer and driver feedback on fuel savings and drivability, Volvo engineers started working on the next generation, which delivers fuel savings up to 11% compared to 2015 model-year trucks.
Volvo Trucks North America is introducing the next generation of its Turbo Compound technology, providing up to an additional 3% improvement in fuel efficiency over the current 13-liter Turbo Compound engine, the D13TC.
Volvo Active Driver Assist (VADA) 2.0, a comprehensive collision mitigation system, will be made standard in the new Volvo VNR and VNL models, and available on VNX models, later this year.
