Volvo Trucks powers up expanded charging solutions for electric fleets

Enhanced program gives fleets more support and flexibility as they transition to battery-electric trucks

Volvo Trucks North America is expanding its Turnkey Solutions program with the addition of two new providers, ABM (NYSE: ABM) and Lane Valente Industries. The program now includes three full-service providers — InCharge Energy, ABM and Lane Valente — offering customers a streamlined, end-to-end approach to deploying electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure.

Designed to simplify the transition to electromobility, Volvo’s Turnkey Solutions program brings together trusted providers to manage the full charging infrastructure process — from planning and funding support to installation and ongoing service. By consolidating these services, fleets can move forward with greater confidence and less complexity.

“We continue to simplify and expand options for our customers, making it easier to adopt electromobility,” said Daniel Krantz, Vice President of Charging and Infrastructure Solutions – North America, Volvo Energy. “By working with proven providers, fleets can rely on experienced providers to manage the full process, allowing them to stay focused on their core business. Building charging infrastructure independently can be complex and costly, especially without the scale to secure the best solutions. With Volvo’s Turnkey program, customers have a trusted path forward — and added support if they need it.”

Through the program, selected providers manage the full charging infrastructure journey from early planning and funding support to installation and ongoing operations, including:

For customers who prefer to manage their own infrastructure projects, Volvo also offers recommended charging equipment through its dealer network, providing flexibility to match each fleet’s specific needs and capabilities.

Both the Turnkey Solutions program and recommended charging equipment can be bundled with financing or leasing options through Volvo Financial Services, helping customers align their infrastructure investments with their electric truck deployments. With expanded provider options and flexible pathways, Volvo Trucks continues to support customers at every stage of their electromobility journey.

“The commercial EV market is at a critical inflection point, where fleets are moving from early pilots to scaled deployment,” said Nick Angeramo, vice president of energy services at Lane Valente Industries. “Our inclusion in Volvo Trucks’ program allows us to meet that moment alongside an OEM that understands both the operational realities of its customers and the complexities of electrification. A key differentiator for our team is our ability to self-perform critical portions of the work, which allows us to maintain tighter control over project schedules, quality and safety, while reducing reliance on third parties.”

ABM is a leading provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions. The company’s eMobility solutions team has installed more than 30,000 EV charging ports nationwide and offers end-to-end fleet electrification services, including in-house engineering and design, procurement, construction, power provisioning and performance solutions.

“Volvo Trucks has built a strong, customer-driven approach to electrification, and its Turnkey Solutions program reflects a clear understanding of what fleets need to move forward,” said Mark Hawkinson, president of technical solutions at ABM. “Charging infrastructure can be complex, capital-intensive and difficult to scale, which is why fleets value integrated solutions. By combining Volvo’s program with ABM’s end-to-end infrastructure expertise, we can help customers plan, deploy and operate charging systems that are reliable today and ready for what’s next.”
