Volvo Trucks to showcase all-new Volvo VNR in Canada for the first time at Truck World 2026

Volvo Trucks North America will highlight its latest truck technologies and driver-focused innovations during Truck World 2026, taking place April 16–18 at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Attendees can visit Booth #1049 to explore the company’s latest technologies and training innovations. Multiple Volvo truck models will be on display, including the first public showing in Canada of the all-new Volvo VNR.

“Bringing the all-new Volvo VNR to Canada for the first time allows fleets to see firsthand how Volvo continues to advance safety, fuel efficiency and driver comfort in trucks engineered for today’s regional operations,” Matthew Blackman, managing director, Canada, Volvo Trucks North America.

All-new Volvo VNR makes Canadian debut
Leading the display will be the all-new Volvo VNR, which recently began production in North America at the New River Valley Plant in February 2026. Designed specifically for regional haul operations, the next-generation VNR features a comprehensive redesign focused on enhanced safety, improved fuel efficiency and a more comfortable, driver-centric cab environment.

Two Volvo VNR models will be featured in the booth, giving attendees an up-close look at the truck platform engineered to meet the evolving needs of regional fleets.

Volvo will also showcase multiple models from the Volvo VNL platform, including a Volvo VNL 860 equipped with Volvo’s Camera Monitor System, which replaces certain traditional mirrors with camera-based technology designed to improve visibility and aerodynamics. The VNL platform continues to gain momentum across Canada, including the largest Canadian order of the all-new Volvo VNL earlier this year, demonstrating strong demand for Volvo’s redesigned long-haul truck.

Volvo Academy immersive training experience
Visitors to the Volvo booth will also be able to experience the Volvo Academy training portal, including interactive demonstrations using virtual reality headsets. The immersive technology provides a hands-on learning environment designed to help technicians and fleet personnel better understand vehicle systems and service procedures.

Volvo Trucks press conference
Volvo Trucks will host a press conference on Friday, April 17, where company leaders will share additional insights into Volvo’s latest vehicle technologies and strategic initiatives. Topics will include:

Volvo will also participate in Truck World’s educational programming.
