Sue Ann Smith has been appointed Vice President of Leasing National Accounts for Volvo Trucks North America. She began her new position on April 1, 2022.
She succeeds Kurt Hollinger, who recently took a position as Vice President of National Accounts for VTNA. In her new position, Sue Ann will lead new trucks sales through the brand’s National Account Leasing channel. She will work closely with the National Account managers and coordinate all aspects of account management.
Sue Ann is a senior sales professional with more than 20 years of experience with Volvo Trucks, having served as National Account Manager before becoming leader of the National Leasing team. She joined the trucking industry after graduating from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University in Bloomington. She has held the positions of dealership sales representative, government sales manager, district sales manager and regional fleet sales manager. In her new role, Sue Ann is a part of the management team, reporting to Peter Voorhoeve, President Volvo Trucks North America.
